To start things off, I'm currently sat here, typing away at 12:45am, contemplating why the heck I'm actuallu making this portfolio website, page, thingy. I could just sort it over the weekend, like, you know, a normal person. But, nope, I'm sat here, typing away at *checks time*, oh right, yeah, 12:47am. What am I doing?
Anyway, the reason I've made this in the first place, more than just stumbling across this on Adobe... Shoutout Adobe! I have FINALLY got back into photography, like, Christ, it's been a while. So yeah, I thought, where would the best place be, other than Instagram, or Twitter - Okay, X - to post the pictures I have actually been taking, or will be taking. Don't get me wrong, this isn't going to be the most fabulous website, or portfolio for that matter, that you've ever stumbled across - if that's what you're searching for, then please, for the love of God, go find that photographer, because there's plenty of them - I should know, I follow tons on Instagram (btw, go follow me on Instagram, just click on the button up the top, or scroll down to the bottom here!
Right, back to photography, I ended up getting myself a brand new camera, the Fujifilm x100vi, that's right, I've joined the overrated camera club - okay, in all seriousness, this is a beautiful little camera, and I took my time in researching the best ones out there for portability, and obviously quality overall - I needed this little machine, to take over my iPhone - which, for a while, I was using for any type of photography for a while - but to get back into photography, and to force myself out of the convenience of the smartphone we all have in our pockets, I needed something petite, and easy enough for me to take everywhere with me - and - I mean EVERYWHERE - even if I'm going downstairs for lunch after video editing - I am bringing that bloody camera - so I bought the Fujifilm x100vi, off eBay for a great price - because obviously, they keep selling out - HAHA - I got one, you haven't (you might have) - but yeah, it's been a joy to use, and most photos on my site so far have been from that tiny little machine, and soon I will also be owning a film camera - the Contax TVS 35mm - and this isn't my first film camera, no, I'm 25, not 10! Okay, I've sold my first film camera to buy this one because that original one was from 1956, and for the love of god, I need some up to date functionality, and that one definitely wasn't up-to-date, in any way, shape, or form (is that the correct saying).
So, it's now 01:00am, and I am knackered - I will be updating this site frequently, and hopefully a new blog post each month, I'm not a writer, as you can tell from the enormous paragraph previously, this was never my strong suit - but any how, have a fabulous morning, or evening, or night - whenever you're reading this.
See you soon,
L
